I chose the podcast : American life- Episode 361- Fear of sleep
It's about different stories of people that have problems in their sleep.
I listened to a stand up guy called Mike Birbiglia during his show in  New York.

1- Detective de gramática y conectores
When he talks about what happened to him in the past, he uses: past simple, past continuos, past perfect and modals ( would-should)
When he performs some sceenes ( a dialogue) at the audience he uses present simple.

Conectores:
And /but /At that time / around that time / At this point /Actually / Never...until..../

New expression: talk me down ( calm down)

The recording I will send it by whattsup.

It was hard for me to understand the guy because he talked quickly and he "swallowed" some parts of words. I had to get the script to understand it completly.

Hi!! I listened to two podcasts from the British council. The first podcast is a conversation between two friends,  where one tells the other that he looks very smart in his new shirt. He was trying to save money, but he saw the shirt and he wanted to buy it. when he saw the shirt he couldn't resist buying it.
In the second podcast, they ask which famous person they would like to meet.
connectors: and, then, so, but
Grammar: present simple, simple past, present continuous:
Example:-"But you told me you ´re trying to save money".

Hi everyone!
I chose the following podcast: "#UNCTAD60: Rebeca on charting a new course for development".
https://unctad.org/podcast/unctad60-rebeca-grynspan-charting-new-course-development

1. Verb tenses
Present simple: Today we have to renew that commitment.
Present simple/continuous: We are in a economy that is growing very slow.
Present perfect: The changes have taken us like a storm.
Past simple: How we were born
Past continuous: Countries were being left behind by the economic system.
Future: We will have to take action.

Conectors: because  - even - so - in the beginning - and - like

2.Summary:
The podcast is about the vision of Rebeca for the UNCTAD (United Nation Conference on Trade and Development), her perspective on the course of development in a changing world, and how to manage new challenges to keep promoting a fairer economic system and help developing countries for a better future.

It has been hard to differentiate between "been and being", and to determine if the sentence "will not left them" is correct.
